The ground floor living space has a spacious open plan kitchen dining area, with a fully equipped kitchen. The separate lounge is large and relaxing with ample seating and wood burner to enjoy on those winter nights.
Sleeping up to 8 guests, there are 3 king size en-suite bedrooms, and 1 king-size bedroom next to the family bathroom all on the first floor. The property is further enhanced by an enclosed private courtyard garden with an amazing hot tub which sits 4 people.
Kirkby Lonsdale is set between the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales National Parks, and the Forest of Bowland. 6 miles from the M6 and J36. Excellent location for exploring the lakes, dales, and surrounding towns and villages. Great area for walking, cycling, fishing, golf, paddle boarding (on Windermere) and for train enthusiasts the famous Settle to Carlisle train journey, Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway are within an hour’s drive.
It is well known for inspiring the artist Turner and the author Ruskin, whom the famous Ruskins View along the River Lune is named after. Devils Bridge is a popular landmark of the town attracting locals, visitors and bikers. St Mary’s Church dates back to Norman times and is popular with visitors.

We have stayed in Ingleborough House many times and have already booked again for next year. Excellent location and house has all your home comforts. Whilst we were there we had an issue with the hot tub however after contacting Mill Cottages the issue was rectified within a few hours. Thank you for the excellent customer service.
We booked both cottages for a family weekend away. 12 adults, 2 teenagers, 2 babies and a dog. The properties are very nice, spacious and modern. Bedrooms all lovely with an en-suite or bathroom each. Owners very helpful. Short walk into the village which has lots of pubs, restaurants and shops. We will definitely be back.
The house is impressive and perfect for families and groups of friends, its in a perfect location for exploring the lakes and is walking distance into the village with its great choice of bars and restaurants. The house is spacious, well thought out and really well equipped, the hot tub is bonus. The bedrooms are gorgeous with the most comfortable beds with quality bed linen and all the bathrooms have a very high quality finish. There are no reasons NOT to recommend Ingleborough House and we will definitely be back. We had a wonderful stay.

This was a special occasion for us and Stephen made sure we got all we needed.
We had a very comfortable stay and were impressed with the high standard of the accommodation. The kitchen was very well equipped making cooking for group of us much easier than in some other properties we’ve stayed in. It was warm and comfortable. Large public rooms which meant we all had space to relax. Very close to the lovely town centre. All in all a very enjoyable stay.
