More than a market town on the edge of the Lakes, there’s always something to do in Kendal – whatever the weather including indulgent shopping experiences, incredible food and drink, adventurous activities, and leisurely strolls with wonderful views all around. Great location, great accommodation, great amenities…hard to beat this if you’re looking for an easily-reached middle-of-the-country option for a large group. We had 16 adults and 5 small children and we were fully accommodated by the wonderful hosts. When you’re this close to a pub, farm play park, walks literally out of your door, Oxenholme station and the M6 there’s little more you could ask for.
