Mill House Cottage is a gorgeous, luxury, self-catering holiday cottage situated between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales.
The ground floor boasts an open plan living space with kitchen/diner & lounge. The fully equipped kitchen has modern appliances, including an electric hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher and a fridge-freezer. The sitting room has an authentic wood-burning stove, comfortable armchairs and a sofa, as well as a TV, DVD and CD player, DAB radio and wi-fi access.
The first floor has two double bedrooms, the first is furnished with a super-king sized bed and has a separate shower room; the second has a five-foot queen-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom. Each comes with towels and linen included, and oil fired central heating keeps the rooms warm all year round.
The Cottage also has a private garden.
One of the Mill House Cottages, set in the beautiful Lune Valley, which lies between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks on the edge of the Yorkshire Moors. There are two double bedrooms. One has a 5' queen-size bed and en suite bathroom. The second has a super king-size bed with a separate shower room.
We had a fantastic four nights at Mill Cottage. The location is beautiful with views over the valley in front of the house and hills behind it.
The cottage was well appointed and very comfortable. There are other cottages nearby but you still have your privacy. The owners were helpful and around if you needed them but just let us get on with enjoying our holiday. A wonderful place that we'd love to return to.
