With so much so see and do in the area, we’re confident you’ll spend the most amazing Easter with your family! So, which events can you attend while you’re in the Lakes this April?

April 1st to April 23rd – Lakeland Maze Farm Park Easter Activities

Lakeland Maze Farm Park, near Kendal, has plenty of activities for everyone in the family! Your kids in special will love spending Easter 2017 doing an Eater egg hunt, enjoying both indoor and outdoor play areas, as well as picnic areas, having fun with trampolines and go karts, and joining in the many crafts activities available.

These and much more await you at this fantastic location, where you and the younger members of the family can also see farm animals, participate in quiz trails and ride on tractors!

April 2nd, 5th, 8th, 15th and 29th – Peter Rabbit Tea Party

How about taking your children for a Peter Rabbit Tea Party? The World of Beatrix Potter is perfect for both grown-ups and kids, and it guarantees fun for the whole family. Enjoy an afternoon of delicious food and drinks in the form of sandwiches, cakes and tea! The ticket also includes entry to the attraction before or after the party, according to your preference.

April 8th to 23rd – Dragon Egg Hunt & The Growing Egg

This year, you’ll be able to take your kids on an amazing adventure to Lowther Castle & Gardens in Penrith! Perfect for the young ones, the giant egg dragon egg hunt that’s going to take place in April will keep them entertained for hours on end – there are 100 hidden eggs and many prizes they can win, as well as craft activities and workshops.

April 12th – Where is Peter Rabbit? Easter Treasure Trail

Once again, The World of Beatrix Potter is the place to be this April! In addition to tea parties throughout the month, your kids will also be able to search for limited-edition, handcrafted ceramic eggs from 10 am to mid-afternoon – when all eggs are sure to be found!

This annual egg hunt has great prizes on offer, such as stays in Lake District hotels, and to enter you’ll only need to donate a minimum of £4 to WaterAid.

Visit the Lakes this Easter and both you and your family will have the experience of a lifetime! There are many activities you can participate in with your loved ones and, together with the striking scenery of the Lake District, you’ll have many fond and beautiful memories to look back on!
