Located in the picturesque village of Bolton-le-Sands, it is close to shops, pubs, the beach, and the canal, with easy access to major transport routes, making it just a short drive from Lancaster, Morecambe, and The Lake District, while still enjoying the peace and quiet of village life.
The flat offers a fully equipped kitchenette, open plan lounge & dining space. A bright and airy bedroom & modern bathroom.
We loved staying in this flat - it was stylish, spotless and exceptionally well-equipped. It was very well placed for lovely walks along the canal and over the salt marshes to the sea. Janie was very welcoming and we loved the cakes, bread and granola that she left for us. All in all a lovely place, we hope to return and highly recommend it!
The private flat was a perfect spot for us and Bolton Le Sands is a peaceful-idealic location with access to nearby towns, walking paths and historic sites. The canal and its path are but one minute walk away and was so nice for our dog as well. The shoreline is also close by and also local bakery and pubs. We enjoyed the garden space for eating outside and reading on the comfy furniture. Our dog enjoyed it too and it made our lives easier for any early morning or late night business. Janie is responsive and very friendly but also let us have our space. Janie was also helpful with recommendations on things to see and do. With a private entrance, we could come and go as we pleased. The nearby parking is very convenient. The lower ceilings may be a concern for people taller than 6ft2inches. The flat was kept clean and tidy throughout our stay.

The Garden Flat is simply beautiful and, as a host, Janie is the absolute best. She was there to greet us and show us around the gorgeous apartment, with a relaxing outdoor space. And the provisions and amenities were incredible. Lovely Bramley products in the bathroom, fresh bread and butter, milk, jam, marmalade, lemon curd, eggs and a wee bottle of Prosecco. So much appreciated and so kind. We loved the apartment’s proximity to the Lancaster canal and spent our full day walking to Carnforth and back (super opticians - bought new frames I didn’t need) and a great Booth’s supermarket. Then walked in the opposite direction in the evening. Dinner at the Royal Hotel right on the canal. We loved the location and we really enjoyed our too short stay in the comfortable, stylish, well equipped apartment. We thoroughly recommend!
