If you get travel sick and aren’t keen on the idea of getting on the Santa Express, you can visit the Windermere Christmas Celebration which has a Santa’s grotto. You’ll be sure to have a white Christmas when you visit Windermere, because they are also hosting snow canons. Alternatively, you could visit Hawkshead which promises children’s rides, and last year featured the ‘Best Xmas Jumper Competition’.
