The ground floor living space has a spacious open plan kitchen dining area, with a fully equipped kitchen. The separate lounge is large and relaxing with ample seating and gas stove to enjoy on those winter night.
Sleeping up to 8 guests, there are 3 king size en-suite bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom opposite the main family bathroom. The property is further enhanced by an enclosed private courtyard garden with an amazing hot tub which sits 4 people.
Kirkby Lonsdale is set between the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales National Parks, and the Forest of Bowland. 6 miles from the M6 and J36. Excellent location for exploring the lakes, dales, and surrounding towns and villages. Great area for walking, cycling, fishing, golf, paddle boarding (on Windermere) and for train enthusiasts the famous Settle to Carlisle train journey, Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway are within an hour’s drive.
It is well known for inspiring the artist Turner and the author Ruskin, whom the famous Ruskins View along the River Lune is named after. Devils Bridge is a popular landmark of the town attracting locals, visitors and bikers. St Mary’s Church dates back to Norman times and is popular with visitors.

We had an excellent long weekend. 5 adults and 3 children. The house is well equipped and comfortable but spacious enough for us all. The hot tub was excellent, quite enclosed and private. Thanks for a great stay!

Bedrooms all lovely with an en-suite or bathroom each. Owners very helpful. Short walk into the village which has lots of pubs, restaurants and shops. We will definitely be back. |
Beautifully proportioned and decorated property set in quiet location very close to the centre of town. Plenty of space for our party of six, very well and thoughtfully equipped, will not hesitate to return and will certainly recommend highly to others.

Proactive care from the team made sure we had all and more than we needed. The facilities in the accommodation are top class and kept in good condition.
The location is simply fabulous! 2 mins from bars, restaurants and shops. Everything you need is at hand. The area is so picturesque walks are excellent. I feel sure we will be back. |
