We had a fantastic four nights at Mill Cottage. The location is beautiful with views over the valley in front of the house and hills behind it.
The cottage was well appointed and very comfortable. There are other cottages nearby but you still have your privacy. The owners were helpful and around if you needed them but just let us get on with enjoying our holiday. A wonderful place that we'd love to return to.
We’ve stayed at Mill House Cottages many times as we love the location. The scenery is breathtaking and it’s so peaceful. This was our first time in Mill House Cottage. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay for 3 adults. A bonus having 2 bathrooms. Beautiful walks even in the rain. Appreciated the cosy log burner in the evenings.
Mill House never fails to deliver comfort in a great location with a service to match as well as being great value.
Excellent from the start. V straight forward communication, lovely house & the most comfortable beds. Good value for money too. Highly recommended, would def stay again.
We booked our stay here, on a whim, last year during bonfire night. Our dog suffers with terrible noise anxiety and we feared he was having a heart attack. The write up for the cottage pretty much guaranteed no noise.
Let’s deal with that first then. 10/10! The quietest place I have ever visited. All you can hear is the bubbling stream that runs alongside the cottage.
Additional to our sole purpose for going we found the place an absolute delight.
The cottage was gorgeous. Well equipped, lovely furnishings, and warm.
The location was equidistant between Kirkby Lonsdale and Sedbergh. Both interesting towns to visit. We nipped into the Lake District, which took a little over half an hour. So much more to see.
I could go on about detail after detail, but probably the best I can do without boring the reader is to confirm that whilst we were there we booked again for next year and this time for 10 nights. No fretful pooch for us any more. Thank you! Quite possibly a life-saver x
