The weekend break away in the Dog House Cottage was just amazing!!! Everything was just perfect; down to the finishing touches.
We were made very welcome and will be certainly going back to another Mill House Cottage for another weekend break away. Could not fault it.
Couldn’t have asked for more ! Wanted a beautiful, relaxing and peaceful Lake District stay and that’s exactly what we got. The location is remote and was absolutely perfect to be in the middle of the countryside! The best location possible! The property managers were on hand to assist as soon as we needed anything - super friendly and welcoming The house itself was absolutely stunning, super clean and just beautiful! Would highly, highly recommend this place 10000/10 !!

We had a brilliant stay at the Dog House. The cottage is beautiful and was immaculate, great outdoor area with hot tub overlooking the hills. Owners were helpful and on hand to answer questions
The dog house is amazing and I would recommend it to everyone.
To get there you drive up some idillic country lanes lined with hedges, as the road comes to an end you get to a beautiful farm set on a hill side in what appears to be the middle of nowhere.
The property is set up a driveway tucked away from the rest of the world.
The bedroom is warm, comfy and has a very well finished bathroom.
The upstairs has a well equipped kitchen and everything you would need to live like you’re at home.
The living room has an easy to use log burner and the view out of the French doors is worth every penny.
You can sit out in the hot tub staring across the rolling hills with nobody to overlook….. apart from a few sheep.
I genuinely couldn’t find anything to improve, the hosts were discreet but attentive when needed.
There is plenty of places to visit, walk and eat all nearby!!
I will definitely return and I highly recommend this gem of a Holliday cottage
