Absolutely wonderful. Hosts were amazing even sang Happy birthday to my wife on arrival. Only stayed for 2 nights but wish we had booked more. Lovely surroundings. Couldn't wish for a more beautiful place. Every little detail was well thought out. Decided to go for a walk and the hosts told us on a beautiful route to take which did not disappoint. Will definitely be booking in again
Fantastic base to explore the beautiful Forest of Bowland. The loft had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and was the perfect place to relax after days out walking and cycling.
Sue and Kevin have created a lovely light airy open plan living and dining area that’s also cosy and comforting of an evening. The bedroom is large with a walk in wardrobe and amazing shower. The decoration and finish is of a very high standard and includes large smart TVs in both the living area and bedroom. You’ll find plenty of information about the surrounding area has been left out and Kevin is more than happy to give you a few inside tips. Make sure you take his 8 miles walk from Abbeystead. The only problem you will have staying here is not wanting to leave and explore!!
Another excellent 5* property from Mill House Cottages created by charming hosts Suzanne and Kevin who were on hand to offer a warm welcome and advice. Area a bit thin on good local eateries.
